Potato Stamps: Fun Easter Egg Painting

Potato stamps are a fun and easy way to entertain your children and prepare for Easter. They’re simple to make, fun to paint and offer endless creativity for kids. To make potato stamps, all you need are some potatoes that you cut into halves.

Once cut into halves, create designs by etching them with a knife. You can create all sorts of designs to stamp, paint or design just about anything. Once patterns are cut and paints are ready, have the children paint the stamps.

Grab a few sheets of large art paper, then stamp the potato stamps with the various colors. Once it’s all complete, you can hang the designs by a string for Easter.
